Becki Drewett

Becki is an advanced practice-chartered cancer physiotherapist and cancer-trained nutritional therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in adult and paediatric oncology rehabilitation, complex care, and movement rehabilitation.

She graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and later completed an MSc. She also trained at the Frazier Rehabilitation Institute in the United States. Becki is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Health and Care Professions Council, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, and the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine.

Her clinical work spans the full cancer pathway, including prevention, prehabilitation, active treatment, palliative care, and long-term survivorship support. Cancer and its treatments can affect strength, stamina, mobility, and overall function, and Becki is passionate about delivering exercise that is safe, personalised, evidence-informed, and enjoyable.

Alongside her physiotherapy practice, Becki is a BANT-registered nutritional therapist with cancer training, bringing an integrated understanding of how nutrition and exercise can work together to support resilience, manage treatment-related side effects, and optimise recovery. She works closely with the wider Synthesis Clinic multidisciplinary team to ensure movement and nutrition goals are aligned within each person’s individual care plan.

Becki offers exercise oncology, medical acupuncture, scar therapy, and other supportive interventions for people affected by cancer during and after treatment.
