Becky Hogan
BANT REGISTERED NUTRITIONIST AND NUTRITIONAL THERAPY PRACTITIONER
Nutrition for Cancer Support
Specialist interest in nutrition for gastrointestinal (GI) cancers
Becky
Becky Hogan is a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in digestive/gastrointestinal cancers, with a particular focus on bowel (colorectal) cancer. Her clinical work is deeply informed by her own lived experience of cancer, having been diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer and undergoing chemotherapy and surgical resection. Becky also works with upper GI cancers (oesophageal, stomach (gastric), pancreatic, liver, gallbladder, bile duct, and small bowel cancer) and rarer tumour types, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs) and neuroendocrine tumours (NETs).
Becky is trained in the NTEC-accredited Systems Approach to Cancer, a postgraduate programme grounded in a holistic, evidence-based model of cancer care. This enables her to deliver personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies that complement standard oncology treatments and support quality of life during and after cancer care. She has also undertaken advanced training in nutrigenomics.
At Synthesis Clinic, Becky works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary integrative oncology team, ensuring nutritional recommendations are aligned with each patient’s medical treatment plan. She supports individuals through treatment-related challenges such as digestive symptoms, fatigue, appetite changes and metabolic stress, always working alongside oncology services.
Becky holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personalised Nutrition and is registered with both BANT and the CNHC. She uses functional testing where appropriate to inform tailored, food-first interventions. Her approach is compassionate, practical and empowering, with the aim of helping patients live as well as possible during treatment while supporting long-term resilience and whole-person wellbeing.

Book Your Nutrition Package
If you would like some further information, you can contact our reception or Clinic Coordinators, Zarish and Raquel, or book a free 15 min discovery call here (please note that this is an explanatory call only and no personalised advice will be provided). The discovery call should only be booked if you are interested in discussing nutrition and lifestyle support in the context of a current or previous cancer diagnosis, we do not cover general nutrition enquiries. Please note that we do supply recipes and meal ideas but we do not provide meal plans.
Please note that our nutrition team are not able to work with integrative doctors outside our clinic, as we aim to keep an aligned and consistent approach. Similarly, if you are under the care of a dietitian in the NHS, we are not usually able to provide joint support. If you have other professionals apart from your oncology team involved in your care, you will need to notify us and discuss this with our clinic coordinator before booking in. It is essential that you are consciously prepared to make some nutrition and lifestyle changes before contacting the clinic and to invest time and effort into this approach with our support, as it is not a quick fix.
