Our Pharmacy Service

Free Synthesis Clinic pharmacist support

As part of her work at Synthesis Clinic, Roshni will be offering complimentary pre-consultation calls to support our patients ahead of their initial appointments with our practitioners. These calls will help ensure that we have a clear record of all current medications and supplements, while also checking for any potential interactions that will be highlighted to your practitioner. We will also be offering a free call following hospital discharge to update your medications on the clinic portal and make sure any drug-drug interactions for new prescriptions are checked.

Paid integrative pharmacist consultations for Synthesis Clinic patients

In addition, Roshni is available for 30-minute integrative pharmacist consultations (£60) when a more in-depth review is needed, particularly around the introduction of new medications in between practitioner’s consultations to check drug-supplement interactions and optimise medication management.

What to expect

• Assess current medicines and expectations

• Assess for interactions with herbs, supplements and food, particularly where there is a new medication in place

• Optimise medicine posology (dosage) and timings

Any recommendations for change will be discussed with your prescribing doctor.

Preparation for the consultation

Please ensure that you have uploaded your any discharge paperwork and/or consultant letters and a full list of current medications and supplements to the portal for the pharmacist to review prior to the consultation, particularly if they are different to what we have recorded on the system for you. Any recent changes are important to highlight. Please note that where you have granted consent, we will aim to access your NHS record to double check your medications.

Please contact Roshni, our Integrative Clinical Pharmacist, to discuss the service and book in.
