Giuseppe Scapellato is an HCPC-registered Dietitian, Nutritional Therapist and Clinical Herbalist with extensive experience supporting people with complex medical and cancer-related needs. He currently works as a Highly Specialist Renal Dietitian within NHS renal services, supporting patients with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplant recovery, malnutrition and enteral feeding.
Giuseppe provides specialist nutritional support for people undergoing cancer treatment, particularly where cancer or its therapies impact kidney function, appetite, weight, gastrointestinal tolerance or overall nutritional status. He is experienced in managing nutrition in the context of polypharmacy, metabolic disturbance and medically restrictive diets, working closely with medical teams to ensure safe, integrated care.
At Synthesis Clinic, Giuseppe contributes his specialist expertise as part of the multidisciplinary integrative oncology team, offering evidence-led, practical nutrition strategies tailored to complex clinical situations. His work focuses on protecting organ function, optimising nutritional status and supporting patients through treatment and recovery.
Alongside clinical practice, Giuseppe is a Guest Lecturer in Nutrition at the University of Westminster and has presented research at UK Kidney Week. He holds MSc degrees in Dietetics and Nutrition and Clinical Herbal Medicine, allowing him to integrate nutrition and herbal strategies where appropriate, with careful attention to safety, drug–nutrient interactions and individual tolerance.

6-MONTH COMBINED PACKAGE WITH GIUSEPPE AND DOCTORS:
£1,665 total - £230 per month for 6 months + £285 joining fee
Includes standard doctor package, five consultations with Giuseppe, 1 x initial appointment, 2 x 60 min follow-up appointments and 2 x 30 min check-ins
PACKAGE WITH GIUSEPPE:
Initial package: £795 to include 1 x initial appointment, 2 x 60 min follow-up appointments, 2 x 30 min check-ins (paid in one or staggered into two payments).

Please note that our nutrition team are not able to work with integrative doctors outside our clinic, as we aim to keep an aligned and consistent approach. If you have other professionals apart from your oncology team involved in your care, you will need to notify us and discuss this with our clinic coordinator before booking in. It is essential that you are consciously prepared to make some nutrition and lifestyle changes before contacting the clinic and to invest time and effort into this approach with our support, as it is not a quick fix.
